Anonymous asked: I can see why people might think it's a rape joke, but the difference is the punchline. You're not supposed to be laughing at the thought of rape but at the incongruity between the implied rape and the fact that Shepard is being out of character (like everyone in these things) and not saving her. The joke isn't the rape, it's Shepard's reaction.
